Thom May is the Chief of the Delaware Division of Public Health's Health Systems Protection (HSP) Section. Mr. May has been with the Division of Public Health since 1989. He directs HSP's 56 environmental health programs, including the Office of Radiation Control. HSP includes 96 employees with an annual payroll in excess of $3.0M and collective yearly assets totaling over $55.0M.
Prior to joining the Division of Public Health, Mr. May held positions in city health departments in Ohio. He has a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Kentucky and is a registered Environmental Health Specialist and Registered Sanitarian with the National Environmental Health Association and the State of Ohio.
